South Marshall St. Block Party

Once a year, Immanuel has a major role in organizing this amazing event. Over 500 residents, including 200 children, come out to enjoy the food and the entertainment (drummers, large puppets, music, the Yardgoat’s mascot, bouncy house, ice cream truck.).

Wheeler Clinic has donated school supplies and backpacks for all the children. We have over 2,000 children’s books to give to the children! Over 40 non-profits will have tables to share information bout their services, as well as offer games and activities for the children. Immanuel will once again have a table where we will share information about our church as well as resume the ever popular face painting tent for the children!

None of this happens without Volunteers! Opportunities for YOU to get involved. Sign up in Fellowship Hall to volunteer at the block party. This event is a wonderful opportunity for the residents to get to know each other, and, it is a terrific opportunity for us, as volunteers, to get to meet some of our neighbors!
